They can do better… Seemed like all the CNA’S took their breaks at the same time. The receptionist was not happy we walked in because she said she has been trying to go smoke a cigarette and people keep coming in. She was big mad. Once she saw I was holding the door for a family member she smacked her lips and walked through the glass door to go to the smoking area… My family member was in such severe pain and I couldn’t understand why. I asked if she could get some pain medication because she was literally crying big tears. It was the charge nurse, like I said all the aids were on break. She said yes she can give her something for pain. I go back to her bedside, only one sheet folded underneath her and the blanket had dried puss stains. So if course I realized she has a bet sore… Smh… I went back to the nursing station and ask please I can’t take her crying, please give her something for her pain. Long story short. She was going to give her 2: Tylenol 325 mg…. I said no ma’am, that is not going help her to find out she hadn’t been given anything no Tylenol no Morphine! She has to verbally ask for her medication… I asked can they please control her by giving it to her every 6/8 hrs so she doesn’t have to suffer in pain until a love one comes in to check on her… Smh….
My grandmother was admitted to this facility and they allowed the granddaughter to make decisions regarding my grandmother instead of reaching out to her daughter and without notifying my mom they transferred my grandmother to hospice. State needs to be notified of their practices.

Pasadena Post Acute is light and bright. Their PT and OT are a priority as well as the well being of their patients. I’ve participated with their trunk or treat program and also know the directors and frontline are dedicated to making a difference where they can.

After living in another nursing home a year and a half ago. I’ve lived in Pasadena Post Acute for a little over a year now. There is many kind and caring staff members that I have not had any problems with since being here. I want to also thank the facility for allowing me to have my own bible study on Thursdays. The facility accommodates greatly for my needs.
Everyone here has been extremely nice and caring. The food is tasteful and nutritious. If I ever need long term care, Pasadena Post Acute would be my first choice. James Kinney.

Place cameras in your loved ones room without that you wont have answers as to why your love one is detorating. Staff told me my loved one died july 15 when hurrican beryl hit , they did not. Nurses refused to place fan in room when power was out i had to buy one. Sttaff threatened to fight me on 1/11/25 when i asked them to tell my loved one what they were doing before doing it. Adminstration is hardly in the building, has family emergencies as an excuse as to why all the time. Lizzie was the glue to that building. I addressed all concerns with staff multiple times nothing changed except them kicking loved one out with no notice after camera was in room for less than 3 days. Do not placed loved ones here. Oh theyll also call aps on you making false allegations. Always document like i have done. Edit in response to reply to owner: Why would I call and speak to your Administrator Thomas, when he’s the one that called APS making false allegations and allowing your staff member whose a cna threaten to fight me which is on video? No accountability from your staff on multiple occasions including when a nurse called and said my brother died who did not and was very much alive but over heated from your facility. No nurses would give up a fan or offered him a fan instead they kept it on themselves at the nurses station. Yall did get cited from STATE for that along with other things. I’ve voiced all concerns.
